RESEARCH PROPOSAL FOR DEPOSIT "COBRE NORTE"
Main Article Content
Abstract
Among the works that are expected to read the geological and technological research within the program of gold are geological research project with a view to conducting exploration in the North Copper, which will increase the degree of resources and the creation of a technical and economic feasibility study for the exploitation of known mineralization. This report takes a literature search of existing technologies for gold recovery and prospects for practical application of the same for the ores under study. Additionally we propose a program of research work based on geological and mineralogical characteristics of the deposit. The work area is located within the region occupied by the field menífero. El Cobre, in the foothills of the Sierra Maestra North. Currently initiating metallurgical plant operations, for the Golden Barite deposit processing, so the Copper North gold zone could increase the resources of the area and therefore the reserves to be processed in the plant. Everything discussed above, highlights the need for further geological studies, development of reserves and reservoir metallurgical studies that demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility for processing the ore.
